Through a partnership between Manchester Folk Festival andMusic PEI, Lizzy Hardingham has been working with Canadian artist Joce Reyome in a very special pan-Atlantic project. Following time spent together in Prince Edward Island and in Manchester, this concert will be a chance to hear some of the music from two wonderfully talented singer-songwriters. Folk infused singer-songwriter, Lizzy Hardingham performs songs for the heart, from the heart; giving audiences a chance for genuine connection and empathy. Joce Reyome captivates audiences with their dynamic performances, infusing classic blues sound with raw vocals and anew perspective while staying true to their singer/songwriter roots

Rosie Hood is known for her strong, pure voice and captivating performances as well as her poetic writing and honest interpretations of traditional songs. Rosie Hood Band delivers re-imagined traditional English songs and original material with themes of politics, struggle, and women’s voices. The sensitive musicianship of Nicola Beazley(fiddle/cello/vocals),Robyn Wallace (melodeon), and Rosie Butler-Hall(fiddle/vocals) perfectly complement Rosie’s vocals.
