Moving between the worlds of music and theatre, Finn Anderson is one of Scotland's most enchanting storytellers. Drawing on his folk roots whilst embracing jazz, pop and orchestral influences, Finn’s songs move freely from the soft and introspective to the bold and dramatic, strung together by intricately crafted and heartfelt lyrics.
Finn's upcoming second album 'Into the Arms of Ghosts' is an intimate and personal collection of songs exploring longing and belonging, growth and change, love and loss – set among the rivers, coasts and landscapes of his childhood in rural Fife and Perthshire.
This new album follows a string of recent adventures including gigs with Rachel Sermanni, C Duncan, Emily Mae Winters, Josh O’Keefe, and Man of The Minch; performances at Glasgow Royal Concert Hall for Celtic Connections festival as part of LGBTQ folk music collective Bogha-Frois; and composing award-winning hit folk musical ‘Islander’.
