Fran O’Hanlon acquired the name AJIMAL in the aftermath of being caught up in Haiti following the 2010 earthquake. AJIMAL’s second album, As It Grows Dark / Light, was co-produced with Guy Massey (The Beatles, Spiritualized, Bill Fay, Divine Comedy) and released in June 2020. AJIMAL has won support in the UK and internationally, clinching second place in the 2020 Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition.
