Evidence of this is the past years which has seen the roadman engage a global audience with recent live appearances including BASSLINE Festival and ACCESS 2021 in Johannesburg, Pop-Kultur 2022, Berlin and an intimate series of boutique tours in London, Oxford, Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam.

On the heels of his recent sold out headline show in Accra, Tommy WÁ released his ‘Roadman and Folks’ EP which can be streamed across all platforms now. This latest body of work is a collection of the last 3-5 years of wanderlust experiences from his life, family, friends and neighbors.

He has cited Michael Kiwanuka, Beautiful Nubia, Brittany Howard, Asa, Benjamin Clementine and Bon Iver amongst others, as his influences. He prides himself with remaining fluid enough to redefine preconceived notions of what music produced in Africa sounds like.
