Manchester Glam-punk 4-piece The Madding Crowd return for their first gig in 2 years, with special guests The Ombudsmen in support. Forming in north Manchester in 2010, The Madding Crowd are made up of brothers Ben and Dominic Corry and their cousin Claud, with Sam Smith on drums.
They are a ferocious, pulverising, relentlessly enegergetic live band, taking in influences from psych, Glam, Punk, Rockabilly, Pop and Prog among a variety of others. This promises to be an emotional evening as the band return from an enforced hiatus, exactly 2 years to the day they played their last gig. It will be a celebration of the past, and a riotous look to the future, following the release of ‘The Mowers Dies With Them’ on 9th November, an anthology album featuring everything The Madding Crowd have ever released.
