Please note this is an 18+ event

Join us for the 74th and final Other Room, which will also be our tenth birthday. In addition to performances from Amy De’Ath, Camilla Nelson, Pascal O’Loughlin and Vicky Sparrow, we will be launching our new anthology, featuring writers from our previous year of events. Free entry, as ever. Details of all four readers as follows:

Amy De’Ath’s most recent poetry publication is ON MY LOVE FOR gender abolition (New York: Capricious, 2016). She is Lecturer in Contemporary Literature, Culture and Theory at King’s College London, and is currently working on her first academic book, Unsociable Poetry: Antagonism and Abstraction in Contemporary Feminized Poetics. With Fred Wah, she is the editor of a poetics anthology, Toward. Some. Air. (Banff Centre Press, 2015).

Camilla Nelson is a British language artist. Her work explores the intra-action of human, other-than human organisms and other material entities through page-based poetry, soundwork, installation and performance. www.camillanelson.co.uk

Pascal O’Loughlin is Irish and currently lives in London where he’s a librarian at the National Poetry Library. A novel ‘Now Legwarmers’ is imminent from Henningham Family Press. He’s 1/3rd of Stinky Bear Press poetry collective.

Vicky Sparrow’s poems can be found in Front Horse, Intercapillary Space, datableed and Litmus, and her first pamphlet Notes to Selves (2016) is published by Zarf Editions. She is completing a PhD on the poet-activist Anna Mendelssohn at Birkbeck, and edits reviews for the Journal of British and Irish Innovative Poetry.
