ACRID Presents… STRUCTURES

Rage, physical pains and strong emotions compose the nervously melancholic world in which the members of STRUCTURES inhabit. Onstage they present a show full of passion and fury which is brutally transmitted without detours.

Their sound is a direct invitation to let go and makes it impossible not to ignite before such energy. An authoritative voice, powerful lines and nervous rhythms, a haze of fog thickened by the omnipresence of the bass lines, jerking on the drums and throbbing guitars encapsulates the sound of STRUCTURES. STRUCTURES releases this black and addictive atmosphere that is reminiscent of These New Puritans, Total Control, Agent Side Grinder or The Horrors.

SlowHandClap

Alternative noise rock trio SlowHandClap came about from the passion of punk and noise rock. The Manchester based band are made up by Sam Bullock – (Vocals/Guitar) Dan Coleman – (Bass) and Michael Duckworth – (Drums)

The band have a love of the 90’s alternative and 80’s punk scene from the likes of Sonic Youth, Wire, Fugazi and Swans. They manage to control their chaotic sound and dissonant noise with rich chords, melodies and rhythmic grooves to both please and unease the listener.

Their numerous releases have been played by BBC Introducing and BBC 6 music and have headlined several sold out shows across Manchester also having shared stages with acts such as Kagoule, Mugstar, Drahla, Warm Drag (Oh Sees) to name a few.
