Please note this is an 18+ event

Are We Strangers Now? are proud to present a joint headline show from The Telegraph’s folk artist of the year HARRY HARRIS and BBC 6 Music favourite THOM MORECROFT, with support from up-and-coming local singer-songwriter CHLOE JONES!

Three amazing acts on one intimate billing!

HARRY HARRIS:

Harry Harris is a prolific, energetic and captivating songwriter who, over the past few years, has established himself as one of the most exciting the UK has to offer.

His sophomore album ‘Songs About Other People’ was given five stars and named the top folk album of the year by The Telegraph, with the beautiful single The Ballad of Ronnie Radford named Song of the Year by FATEA Magazine.

He’s signed to Wild Sound Recordings and lives in London. He’s also one-third of a folk-punk band called Greyhounds Greyhounds Greyhounds.

THOM MORECROFT:

Played on 6music and described by ex-editor of NME, Q, Mojo and Word Paul Du Noyer as “cheering and addictive”, Thom Morecroft is a scruffy cherub of a folk-pop singer-songwriter from Shrewsbury, precariously hidden away somewhere along Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter.

Having just successfully crowd-funded the release of an EP in January, and then put together another for late April, Thom will be embarking on his first UK tour.

CHLOE JONES:

Chloe Jones is a singer-songwriter from the small town of Dukinfield in Cheshire – just 7 miles out of Manchester city centre. With her rich tones and unique vocal quality, Chloe has a voice beyond her years and has been likened to artists such as Joan Baez, Tracy Chapman and Karen Carpenter.

Chloe’s style falls into the genres of folk, country and americana with storytelling, love and life being at the heart of her music.

Her debut EP ‘Meet You There’ is a collection of songs inspired by Chloe’s travels to and from the USA, featuring tales of romance, friendship and most of all, wanderlust.
