“King Kartel reanimate the glory days of The Jam & The Libertines. Many bands have tried that trick before, but there’s something highly appealing about the Manchester band’s efforts”

THE BIG SLICE MANCHESTER

This band fit perfect with a festival setting, they came to life and stormed the audience with an all-out indie dance party. They have an arena ready sound, a rush of anthemic indie rock, it’s something that you don’t want to miss out on, trust me.
BITTERSWEETSYMPHONIES

King Kartel played at one of our launch parties, and they blew everyone away.
SCRUFF OF THE NECK RECORDS

King Kartel are a band with buckets of promise, something which really seems to have been brought to fruition in their latest tracks through a maturity not as evident in their earlier material. It’s these tracks which ultimately will unlock a wealth of opportunities for the band, and as such they need to get them recorded, sharpish.
LOUDER THAN WAR

Based in Manchester but mostly hailing from Newry, King Kartel have been kicking up quite a storm recently both here and on mainland U.K. with their brand of Fratelli’s style Indie Rock. The video for their debut single ‘Stone Cold Killer’, has now reached nearly 30 000 views on Youtube. Impressive indeed for a band only formed in 2012.
But you can see why they have attracted the following they have. The style of song writing the band have a clear idea of what they want to sound like and pull off that vision with effortless ease.
CHORDBLOSSOM

“Their single, ‘Stone Cold Killer’, had me knocking at the King Kartel door instantly. It’s heart-thumping beat has the capability of bringing a captivated silence upon all who hear, proving their musical prowess in under 30 seconds. Once the vocals begin, the whole track becomes stuck together by an addictive vibe which is injected through it’s veins, making you crave its anthem-esque sound on a much more greater scale. Imagine a night out in town, fists in the air, music knocking at your eardrums, feeling invincible? King Kartel are the creators of this phenomenon with nothing comparing to the euphonious sound unfolding in front of our very eyes”.
THE MUSIC MANUAL

Sounding like what Kings of Leon would if they’d grown up in the UK’s Northern moshing ground, Manchester’s Indie Rock band King Kartel aren’t satisfied with releasing a knockout blaster of a single ‘Stone Cold Killer’, they’ve got all stop motion on us and done a fingers up salute to the world in animation to accompany the release.
