SJM Concerts presents JR GREEN

Please note this is an 18+ event

Combining accordion-riffed nostalgia and teenage angst acoustic guitar, punctuated by gravelled and howling Scottish-toned vocals are adolescent prodigal duo JR Green – two brothers from Strontian, a remote Scottish village a few miles from the most westerly point on mainland Britain, bringing a more youthful, virile edge to folk and traditional music.

With the band appearing in a couple of “2016 top tips lists”, this year has got off to a really great start for them…

Their debut single, Nigerian princess has been played on BBC Radio 16 Music and was Single of the Week on BBC Radio Scotland as well as being featured artist on Vic Galloway BBC Introducing… Huw Stephens made them BBC introducing “Tip of the week” too!  And with performances at BBC Celtic Connections (broadcast live on BBC), The Great Escape, T In The Park as well as dates in LA and Europe already under their collective belts this year, the buzz around JR Green is most definitely heading in an exciting direction.
