ROCKETSHIP FOREST With guests MANALISHI, PUBLIC SEKTOR & SOMA HOLIDAY

Please note this is an 18+ event
THE HEADACHE FACTORY 4 – A night of locally sourced alternative music featuring:

ROCKETSHIP FOREST –
Taking influences from punk, folk, metal, mariachi and electronica, Rocketship Forest have a furious, idiosyncratic sound that could best be described as alternative rock. Lyrics about love, break-ups and dancing are excluded from their songs in favour of story telling, social commentary and absurdist stream of consciousness.
With animated, energetic stage presence and a tendency to perform in costumes, make-up and masks, RF quickly earned themselves a reputation as a captivating live act.

MANALISHI –
Manalishi are a guttural plethora of raw energy, f*** you attitude, and scruffy hair. Consisting of lead vocalist/rhythm guitarist Dominic Strett, lead guitarist Thomas Ryder, bassist Josh Urpi, and drummer Charlie Gough; they concentrate on their music leaving your ears ringing, and a persistent scratchy feeling in the back of your throat.
With a crunching fusion of grungy, noisy, alternative rock; and a disillusion for the conventional, they merge captivating melodies with a rib-punching wall of sound and melancholic chords, complete with unpolished, squealing guitars, and the disgusting scars to prove it.

PUBLIK SEKTOR –
Currently based in the contemporary Manchester of Earth-1218, though
gathered together from the many-angled corners of time, space and reality,
PUBLIK SEKTOR create a blend of hip-hop not yet heard by 21st century human
ears.
Consisting of viridescent infant, GREEN BABY (keys/vox), 22nd Century
lawman JUDGE MENTAL (guitar/vox), Geordie pro-wrestler JIMMY NAILZ
(bass/vox) and 8-bit gaming ghoul, ZX SPECTRE (drums), PUBLIK SEKTOR
continue on their multidimensional journey through the omniverse in search
of the one true cosmic groove.

SOMA HOLIDAY –
Singalong melodic acoustic folk duo with fiercely satirical lyrics.
