‘LCM Promoter Of The Year’ Red Balloon Music presents… THE BLACK FEATHERS!

Support comes from WHITE LITTLE LIES and RUTH OWENS!

Red Balloon Music is proud to be hosting the acclaimed and much loved pair, BBC favourites and lauded by Bob Harris himself, The Black Feathers – a husband and wife roots music duo based in Gloucestershire, who play their multi-award-winning blend of Folk and Americana.

Their debut EP (Strangers We Meet, 2014) was listed in The Telegraph as one of the best Folk albums of 2014 and in 2016 they toured with folk legend Eddie Reader.

Their debut album was met with critical acclaim and broke into the Top 10 in the iTunes Country chart, and the Official UK Americana chart.

Now see them perform an intimate headline set in Manchester at The Castle Hotel!

White Little Lies is a brand-new Country and Americana duo from Liverpool, currently working on their first EP. They have been gaining acclaim around Merseyside, being named by Liverpool Acoustic as one of the best vocal duos in the city.

Focusing on concepts of life and love, White Little Lies have taken a refreshingly honest approach to the stories that they tell through their music, singing about themes that everyone and anyone can relate to.

Last year they supported recognised artists such as; Morrissey and Marshall, Hannah Rose Platt and Nashville singer/songwriter, Amelia White.

And with more live dates and music on the way, 2019 looks set to be their year!

Raised in Birmingham, Ruth Owens is a Singer/Songwriter/Multi-instrumentalist currently studying Popular Music at the Royal Northern College of Music in Manchester.

Her original music takes on a folk/pop style, and since recording her first EP in 2015 her songs have been featured on the BBC introducing mixtape played on BBC 6 Music.

Ruth has performed in venues including The Tower of Song, The Bridgewater Hall and The Jam House Birmingham.

The lead track of her EP Strong is also featured as the title track of the independent film Just Charlie by Seahorse Films, currently airing on Sky Movies and available on NowTV.
