The Pentatonic presents Myoto w/ The Super Late Night + Potato

Please note this is an 18+ event

Emerging Manchester four-piece Myoto are a punchy, melodic indie rock band.

Frontman Rhys Mason’s melancholy yet honest lyricism is juxtaposed with Myoto’s feel-good, shimmering melodies thanks to the stellar musicianship of fellow members Andy McCoy (guitar, backing vocals), James Melville (bass, backing vocals) and Conor McKeown (drums).

After introducing themselves with emphatic tunes ‘Wanted Man’ and ‘Two Step Sally’, the guys are now set to release a catalogue of music that they recorded in Confelons, France mid 2022 with producer Joe Woolfe at Studio Alouette.

“Its evolved into more than just a band. There’s definitely a more artistic feel to it now, rather than ‘we just play music’. That’s a very distinct thing.

“That’s what I wanted coming into a band, especially playing live. If someone walks past the Night and Day Cafe in Manchester, I’ve done it myself, there’s a difference between ‘there’s a band playing tonight’ versus ‘there’s a gig happening in there!’ – They are two different levels, and we want to be the second one.”

With Rhys a firm flagbearer for humble beginnings, the quartet seek to communicate open and honest messages with their music. Their melodic brand of indie rock is packed with catch, addictive hooks, soaring choruses and a major dose of feeling.
