“Rather brilliant indeed!”- Salford City Radio

The seeds of Multiplier were sown during 2011 when Andy and Phil met, started writing and performing stripped down acoustic songs. The plan was always to create a band and in the spring of 2012, Danny and Rod joined on bass and drums respectively.
The band made their debut at the tail end of 2012, opening for the highly acclaimed ILiKETRAiNS at The Deaf Institute, Manchester. Further shows sharing the stage with bands as diverse as Six by Seven, The Woodentops, Ultrasound and Blossoms as well as a series of smaller venue gigs have seen the band develop and enhance their powerful and dynamic live sound.
Plot a course between Doves, Elbow and early Radiohead, add a hint of the cinematic and you might be in the right kind of area occupied by Multiplier.
Radio plays of their self-released debut EP and follow up double A side single by BBC Radio 6, Salford City Radio and Radio KC amongst others, together with a live interview and session with BBC Introducing Manchester have seen the band significantly increase their profile and presence.
January 2016 saw Multiplier sign with Playing With Sound and the first fruit of the relationship sees a new single the soaring Alt-Rock, cinematic anthem, Love You To Death released on 8th April 2016
