Live Nation presents Man of Moon w/ Wuh Oh

Please note this is an 18+ event

Man of Moon are a two piece psychedelic rock band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland. Debut single ‘The Road’ was released back in 2015 via Manchester label Melodic which the New York Times said was ‘the best debut single from a UK band since ‘Ceremony’ by New Order’. They quickly gained support amongst fellow artists and bagged support slots with We Were Promised Jetpacks, Arab Strap and set about building their own fanbase.

The ‘Medicine’ EP came in 2016 and the band toured UK and played a number of festivals including BBC Introducing Stage at T in the Park, The Great Escape & Kendal Calling.

Single ‘Ride The Waves’ produced by Tom Furse (The Horrors) kicked off 2019 with a bang and second single ‘Skin’ taken from new EP ‘Chemicals’ saw the band fuse electronic, almost techno sonics to their unique brand of psychedelic rock, bringing exciting results and seeing their streaming numbers soar.

Last year Django Django asked the band to join them on a 20 date tour all over Europe and the UK playing to huge crowds every night. This was the band’s first major foot print in Europe, since then the band have returned to Germany (twice) and The Netherlands for their own shows and have just been confirmed as main support for The Twilight Sad across EU and UK, finishing up with some massive shows in the UK at the end of November 2019.

Having released 2 EP’s so far the band have secured funding from PRS Foundations’ Momentum Fund to record their debut album over the summer and plan to release it early in 2020 as the band go from strength to strength.
