Jezebel Music are delighted to welcome Jace Everett back to Manchester, for a show at The Castle Hotel. This is a duo show with Jacques Merlino, who will play a support set…
Jace Everett is an American singer/songwriter/producer based in Nashville, TN. Best known as the writer/artist behind “Bad Things” (the theme song for HBO’s True Blood), Everett is a prolific artist with
dozens of TV and film syncs, albums, EP’s and singles. Jace was signed to Sony Nashville in 2004 and released an eponymous album on the label. Although the album didn’t chart in the mainstream country
market, it did include the song “Bad Things”. After enjoying his first #1 radio hit as a writer (Josh Turner’s “Your Man”) and securing the theme placement on True Blood, Everett has been writing, recording and releasing an eclectic body of work in country, rock, and even ambient music. His most recent releases find Everett continuing to explore different styles of writing and production. May 2022 saw the release of Way Down Here, a 5 song EP of songs inspired by his heroes Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits and Nick Cave. In October of 2022, Everett released his second collaboration with Norwegian guitar wizard Amund Maarud. The 6 song EP entitled RAUS is filled with dark, high energy rock
inspired by the likes of Iggy Pop and David Bowie.
