Close harmony, confessional folk-pop group GUISE is the voice and heart of front-woman Jessica Guise, who has been writing and playing songs live since her teens. Possessed of a remarkable folk lilt and with influences coming from Dar Williams, Joni Mitchell and Stevie Nicks, she sings with delicacy whilst imparting vicious asides – by turns sweet and haunting.

Together with co-vocalist and long term bandmate Laura Hanna, close harmonies and keys bring the songs to bloom. After the success of the “The Fun Part EP” in 2020, Guise will be releasing their first studio album “Youngest Daughter”on Xtra Mile at the end of April. Produced by Frank Turner, the album is a story-so-far journey through Jess’ writing and the band’s history.
