GLASS ONION PRESENTS: LITTLE DEATH MACHINE

Please note this is an 18+ event

We’re pleased to welcome London-based electro-noise outfit, Little Death Machine to The Castle Hotel on the 13th of May.

With a string of lauded single releases and thrilling shows with Psychic TV, Queen Kwong and God Damn under their belt, the band encapsulates all their inspirations before adding a special amount of groove and grit for good measure.

Quoting luminaries such as Amon Tobin, Bjork and Fugazi among their influences, Little Death Machine’s music is in equal parts hypnotic, trippy and intense, made for adventures in the concrete jungle, a field rave or psyching out in your own mind. Their debut EP, ‘Dreaming In Monochrome’ is out now.

Joining us as main support on the evening will be Manchester’s own Locean, previously pushing the boundaries of improvisational noise-rock in venues such as Salford’s underground cavern, Islington Mill. Poetic, unpredictable but undeniably captivating, Locean are one of Manchester’s must-see groups. Chaos is suitably expected.

The opening slot on the evening will be taken by Possum. Recently migrating from Leeds to Manchester, Possum take college punk and fashion it a coat of fuzz and shoegaze. A new band worth coming down early to witness.
