Emile Almira is a 20-year-old singer/songwriter who predominantly produces pop music. He takes heavy influence from his immediate surrounding, South London, where he has lived since birth.
Coming from a musical family, Emile has always been involved in music in some form. This inevitably led him to partake in theoretical musical studies, alongside music technology, once he had reached A-Level.
As an artist, he aims to make music which is fun and relatable for all listeners. His experience and involvement with music from an early age, alongside his personal experiences, culminated in the idea of his debut single, ‘Morning Sun’. He says that, “[he] knew [he] had to release the song as soon as [he] came up with that catchy chorus”.
He is influenced by independent artists and aims to operate in the vein of someone like Joy Crookes, a fellow London musician. In the future, Emile is positioning himself to deliver a steady stream of new music, as well as to gain further experience in live performance.
