Daniel Land’s first album of songs – “Love Songs For The Chemical Generation”, released with his Manchester band Daniel Land & The Modern Painters – is now widely considered to be a classic of the shoegaze genre, and was called “One of the finest records of its time” by Drowned In Sound, and “Like Slowdive reimagined by Phil Spector” by the NME.

Daniel brings his five-piece live band to The Castle in Manchester on 21 April, playing old favourites alongside songs from his new album “Out of Season” – a series of reflections on history, memory, and national identity in post-Brexit Britain, which has received the best reviews of his career.
