Kai Roberts (vocals) and Jackson Couzens (guitar) first met in Manchester whilst working on separate projects. They quickly bonded, sharing at this time that they both “felt as though we’d hit a wall in Manchester, both musically and personally […] It wasn’t offering what we wanted anymore, so we packed up and moved to London”. In moving to London the pair completed their quartet with newest band members George Le Page (drums) and David Carpenter (bass).

Balancing Act already have three exciting singles under their belts, the first of which being ‘Cold’ which was released in February of this year. ‘Cold’ was followed up by ‘All Yours’, which the band describe as “a relentless song that sums up the feeling of trying to find your feet in a manic, but equally as exciting city”. New Release ‘A Little More Time’ strips back the energy introduced by the band’s previous two singles and sheds light on a more mellow and groovy sound.
