Thom Morecroft and Chris Tavener – Live In Manchester

Please note this is an 18+ event

‘The Long Way Home’ is a joint musical tour by singer-songwriters Thom Morecroft and Chris Tavener. Except some infectious melodies, emotive songs and a dollop of humour from these burgeoning artists on their world tour! Not yet touring the whole world…
They come to Manchester for one night only to play at The Castle Hotel. Tickets are just £5. Support acts to be announced.
Chris Tavener:
Chris is a satirical singer-songwriter, known for his comedic, witty lyrics and a vintage sound. Having completed 351 performances in 2016 alone, Chris is one of the most hard-working musicians in the North West. His latest EP sold in the hundreds of copies and received acclaim from Steve Lamacq of BBC 6 Music who has played the tracks four times on national radio.

In 2016, he took on a nationwide tour and released his popular EP “i’m sorrdy bi’m drunnk” at a sold out show in Manchester’s reputable ‘Night & Day Café’. The success of which led to a stint at The Edinburgh Fringe Festival and a second nationwide tour.

Thom Morecroft
Played on 6music and described by ex-editor of NME, Q, Mojo and Word Paul Du Noyer as “cheering and addictive”, Thom Morecroft is a singer-songwriter from Shrewsbury, precariously hidden away somewhere along Liverpool’s Georgian Quarter.

Having just successfully crowd-funded the release of an EP in January, and then put together another for late April, Thom finished his first UK tour and then went into recording new material. He is the regular MC at The Jacaranda Club in Liverpool.
